Terms of use
Demo terms for the RecoverDock MVP.
1. Marketplace role
RecoverDock is an independent marketplace connecting customers with recovery specialists. RecoverDock is not a recovery provider and does not perform recovery work itself.
2. No affiliation
RecoverDock is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Meta, Instagram, or Facebook. Experts may not claim official affiliation or use 'guaranteed recovery' language.
3. Prohibited conduct
No party may request or share passwords, 2FA codes, backup codes, session cookies, login tokens, or account access. Phishing, hacking services, insider access, and fake documentation are strictly prohibited and may result in suspension.
4. Off-platform dealings
All paid work runs through RecoverDock Protected. Sharing contact details, wallet addresses or external links, or requesting or making payment outside the platform, is prohibited and may lead to suspension. Anything that happens outside the platform is not verified, ranked, held, refunded or mediated by RecoverDock.
5a. Simulation environments
Where a custody provider is not enabled, all payment flows are simulations: no funds are held, transferred, released or refunded by RecoverDock, and no balance shown is a claim on real money.
10. Automated access, scraping and cloning
You may not scrape, crawl, harvest or extract content, listings, results, rankings or user data from the platform by automated means; circumvent rate limits, authentication or other technical measures; copy, clone, mirror or frame the platform or its user interface; or reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the service. Reasonable search-engine indexing of public pages under robots.txt is permitted.
11. Trademarks
RecoverDock and the RecoverDock logo are trademarks of RecoverDock. They may not be used in product names, domain names, advertising or in any way that suggests endorsement without prior written permission.
5. RecoverDock Protected
Protected deals use milestone approval. In environments without a verified custody provider, payments are simulated: no real funds are held, released or refunded by RecoverDock.
6. Verified results
Only completed, customer-approved Protected deals may display a Verified Result badge. Verified results are anonymized and exclude all personal data.
7. Payments
This environment uses a mock payment provider. No real funds are transferred and no custody is provided.
8. Liability
RecoverDock provides the marketplace 'as is' and is not liable for the acts of customers or experts. Use of the platform is at your own risk.
