Trust & Safety
How RecoverDock keeps deals and conversations safe
Community rules, automated protections, reporting, restrictions and appeals — in plain language.
Community rules
Keep everything on RecoverDock
Off-platform contact details, wallet addresses and direct-payment requests are blocked automatically. Deals outside the platform have no protection.
Never share or ask for credentials
Passwords, one-time codes, 2FA/backup codes, session cookies and tokens are blocked in every message field. Nobody legitimate needs them — report anyone who asks.
No harassment, hate or threats
Heavy insults, hate speech, threats, blackmail, doxxing and sexual harassment are blocked and strike your account.
No prohibited services
Account/username/verification sales, ban bypasses, device spoofing, unauthorized takedowns, insider claims and private-data lookups are refused.
Be honest in deals
Impersonating RecoverDock staff, faking deliveries or manufacturing pressure tactics leads to restrictions and human review.
Automated safety checks
- Every message, proposal, delivery note and dispute passes a server-side safety check in Turkish and English before it is delivered.
- Content that shares or requests credentials is withheld — the raw text is never stored or forwarded.
- Serious violations add strikes: repeated strikes escalate from a 30-minute messaging restriction to 6 hours, 24 hours, then 7 days with human review.
- Permanent bans are decided by humans only — never by the automated system.
- Automated checks are deterministic rules, not a judge: you can always appeal, and appeals are decided by a person.
Reporting and blocking
Every message and conversation has Report and Block in its menu. Reports capture the evidence at the moment you file them — editing or deleting a message later never destroys it. The reported person never learns who reported them.
Blocking stops new messages and deal invitations in both directions. It does not erase an active deal’s obligations: the dispute and moderator paths stay open so a moderator can still resolve it.
Moderators
A RecoverDock moderator joins a deal room only when a party requests one or a dispute is opened — as a visible third member of the same conversation. Until then the room shows “Moderator not assigned”; we never display a fake person. Staff do not read private conversations except through a report, a dispute, an assigned moderator duty or a documented security review — and every such access is audited.
Restrictions and appeals
A restricted account can still read messages, open reports and appeals, use disputes and manage account security — it just cannot send normal messages until the restriction ends or is lifted. Each restriction shows its duration and category, and you can appeal it below; appeals are decided by a person.
